Geofabrica’s xAM is a rugged, mobile printer that can fabricate metal and plastic parts in the field. The system has a 14 x 12 x 10-inch build volume. It operates using only standard welding supplies and 3D printing filament.
xAM can operate from -10F to 110F in austere environmental conditions. It can be maintained in the field and can survive shocks experienced by other mobile maintenance equipment systems.
Geofabrica builds application-specific expeditionary systems and devices for the emerging field of point-of-need manufacturing. We create solutions for provisional part production, repair, material processing and assembly on site in remote or harsh conditions.Â
Â
Our point-of-need solutions include 3D printer farms (racked systems) that support surge production, expeditionary metal 3D printers, and forming and joining capabilities for on-site assembly.Â
Geofabrica’s Mobile Microfactories provide next generation solutions to problems with supplying on-site support and accessing to hard-to-source replacement parts in the field.
Â
Our Mobile Microfactories range from systems that are operated in 20-foot ISO containers to small systems that operate in ruggedized cases.
On-site fabrication, repair, assembly, and materials processing
Predictable performance in environments ranging from extreme heat to freezing temperatures, high humidity, to dusty conditions
Operated using digital manufacturing technology
